Geberit has added a new shower element it says provides an easy-to-install and hassle-free alternative to traditional wet room drainage.

The discreet element integrates the drain into the wall and can be fitted with the company’s installation systems, avoiding the need to build into the floor.

Geberit’s new shower element is suitable for use in both drywall and solid construction. It features a sealing system that the company says guarantees a leak-proof shower area for years to come. Covers are available in four designs of chrome-plated, brushed stainless steel, white or individually fitted with a bespoke tile option.

The company has also announced it has been ranked among the top 10 most sustainable companies in the world following independent research by Corporate Knights. The Canadian research company annually evaluates 100 companies based on 10 environmental, social and governance performance metrics.
