APHC urges industry to complete Gas Competency Review survey

Published:  12 October, 2012

APHC is urging all industry employers to complete their Gas Competency Review survey if they have not yet done so before the deadline passes.

The survey, which has been well received by employers and has produced positive feedback, is set to close on Monday 15 October so the results can be documented and passed to EU Skills.

So far over 85% of respondents agree with APHC’s suggested changes to Gas Competency while many others also suggested additional areas to be considered.

Graeme Dryden, APHC technical services manager said: “We are delighted with the results so far but we want to ensure that all employers out there have the opportunity to influence the changes to competency arrangements. We have set a deadline of two weeks to give everyone, who has an interest in this highly emotive subject, to come forward and share their views. I would urge anyone who hasn’t completed this survey yet to do so in the next two weeks.”
