AEG Powertools' new 1,400w twin-base router offers two routers in one, providing the user with the right tool for any routing application.

When used with the fixed base, the router can be used for applications such as laminate trimming, with a combination of a fixed base and a large oval base plate.

When used in a router table, the fixed base can be left in place and the router body can be removed to be used in the plunge base on freehand applications, speeding up the change between different jobs.

The plunge base offers the user the freedom for other typical routing applications such as engraving, edge moulding, and making joints in timber.

The flat motor housing allows the router to stand inverted when changing router parts.
