Boilers account for around 60% of annual energy bills and therefore a highly efficient heating system can make a big difference. The energy saving trust estimates that by simply replacing an old, inefficient boiler with an a-rated high efficiency condensing boiler, consumers can save as much as £300 every year.

It’s important that both the benefits and the requirements of legislation are communicated to the homeowner as, to them, replacing a boiler may seem like a relatively easy task. So when talking of relocating the appliance and moving pipes and the flue, it’s important to have the facts to hand.

The new vision range is ideally suited to compact environments, featuring dimensions of 0.29m2, and a volume of 0.071m3, and can also be configured for rear flue applications. The vision range can be used with a variety of flue systems and is also certified for use with bespoke shared flue systems. If additional elbows are added these must be reduced from the maximum length allowed, as bends or elbows have a greater resistance value compared to a straight section of pipe.
