Camfil UK, providers of air filtration solutions for maintaining healthy and comfortable indoor environments, has launched a quick two-minute survey on indoor air quality (IAQ) for FM estates managers and building services professionals in the UK.

Camfil has launched the national survey exploring general awareness and understanding of IAQ in non-domestic buildings and the health implications of indoor air pollution in the workplace.

The IAQ survey will be promoted across all industries via the UK’s leading FM trade associations, industry institutions and trade unions. Clients, building owners, FMs, estates managers and property managers of non-domestic buildings will be encouraged to take the survey.

Camfil recently highlighted the call for EU action to effectively tackle indoor air pollution and its health implications. 2013 is a notable year for the manufacturer as it is the European ‘Year of Air’ initiative, part of a larger effort to push for stronger EU air quality laws and tighten policies to protect human health and the environment. 2013 is also the year that Camfil celebrates 50 years of operations as one of the global leaders in clean air solutions.

The survey results are expected to highlight areas for raising awareness of IAQ and its health implications in the workplace. Results will be published in 2013 via the campaign website www.keepthecityout.co.uk.
