A mobile app and online database that transforms the way gas safety inspections are managed is now available for engineers.

Easy Safety Cert, run by gas engineer Joe Falcone and his entrepreneurial daughter Bianca Dainty, offers a quick and easy way to create, send and store Gas Safety Inspections.

Launched in March, the hassle-free mobile app allows engineers to complete Gas Safety Records, warning notices and electrical cross bonding records on the job and automatically email them to clients.

The father and daughter business duo established Easy Safety Cert in 2012 after Falcone realised there was a gap in the market for an easy to use and affordable mobile app for completing and sending this information.

Having spent hours every week filling in paperwork and delegating inspection jobs to his team, Flacone teamed up with Dainty to develop the idea and created not only the mobile app but also a secure online database and job management system.

“I wanted to create a high quality app to save me and my team time and money,” said Falcone, who added that the app has made a big difference to his business.

The system is designed to remove as much data entry as possible using menus, and automatically generates warning notices and cross bonding records with the job details.

The secure online database sets 12-month inspection reminders and stores completed certificates, along with client and job details.

It also provides an easy-to-use job management system allowing users to allocate inspection jobs to their team and track completed inspections. The company said this allows engineers to save up to 50% in costs and admin time, compared to paper certificates.

The app is available for free on iPhone, and Android and iPad versions are expected to be launched soon. For more information visit www.easysafetycert.co.uk.
