Installer Scott Wright donates car to charity.

The winner of the Sime Fiat 500 installer promotion has donated the car to charity.

Scott Wright, who works for Pinnacle Heating Services in Sutton Coldfield, won the brand new car after purchasing a Sime Murelle EV HE boiler from Bell Plumbing Supplies in Birmingham. Instead of keeping his prize, he chose to donate the car to Help for Heroes, a charity which raises money to support members of the armed forces who have been wounded.

Sime launched the special installer promotion in 2009, and a range of special gifts were on offer for installers who bought either a Murelle EV HE or Format Digital boiler. Each Sime boiler box contained a mystery prize, and Wright was lucky enough to buy the boiler containing the winning ticket for the Fiat 500.

Wright said: "Winning the competition was completely unexpected but a great surprise! I already have use of a company vehicle, so I decided to donate it to Help for Heroes. It's a cause that's close to my heart as I have a sister in the RAF and my colleague's son is also due to be deployed to Afghanistan shortly. I know how vital the work is that Help for Heroes conducts on behalf of our injured troops."
