To meet the needs of a fast-paced and complex market, PTS has launched a brand new Renewables Design Service. A dedicated team is now on hand to provide support from design to delivery for installers across the UK.

The new service means that PTS can now form an integral part of the design process and deliver complete projects in partnership with installers, from specification to guidance on installation with ongoing technical support. Installers can access the handpicked team by enquiring at their local trade counter or via the national sales team.

Steve Alldritt, technical director of the PTS Renewables Design Service, said: “Installers are under increasing amounts of pressure to complete projects within tight timescales. Dealing with a complex product area like renewables and managing a number of suppliers can mean costly delays. The Renewables Design Service has been launched to make their life easier by providing a single point of contact and managing the whole project on their behalf.

“We’ve had an overwhelmingly positive response so far from our customers; they appreciate the added value and support that we are bringing to their projects. Although in the renewable marketplace it’s fair to say that the delay to the RHI announcement has been disappointing, we’ve received incredibly high levels of interest from those keen to ensure they’re prepared when it does come into effect next year.

"We’re delighted to be at the forefront of the renewables market right across the UK and are looking forward to a really exciting year.”

In addition to the design service, nationwide PTS branches offer a range of renewables products including solar PV, solar thermal technology, heat pumps, air to water heat pumps, rainwater harvesting systems and water conservation products.
