APHC raises awareness through PR campaign

The Association of Plumbing & Heating Contractors is working with Armstrong PR to increase consumer awareness of the association.

An ongoing programme of PR activity will place the association in the public spotlight by highlighting the benefits to consumers of using an accredited and fully qualified plumbing and heating engineer. PR campaigns across the next 12 months will drive consumers to APHC's newly launched online search facility to locate a local member contractor within England and Wales, react to current news events and provide regional media support for members.

APHC’s homeowner advice guides will also be promoted.

John Thompson, chief executive, said: “As a leading trade association we are well known within the industry, but we wish to further increase the awareness of the services we provide to the public and the security that using an APHC member brings. Over the next 12 months we plan to bring our strengths to the public’s attention and be the first place to look for a reputable plumbing and heating engineer.”
