Swale Heating has opened a new training centre in Kent.

The company will use the new facilities to offer employees access to the latest industry knowledge and provide accredited training.

Operations director Chris Riley said: "It is not just our current trainees who will benefit from this investment, but also our qualified engineers and customer support staff who will gain specialist knowledge in new areas."

Swale Heating currently employs over 400 Gas Safe Registered engineers, as well as support staff.

Riley added: "In addition, we will be able to offer joint training initiatives with community partners."

The company was joined by Kent MP Gordon Henderson, who performed the official opening. Henderson said: "It is always encouraging to see companies invest in training, but never more so than in the current economic climate. I am very impressed with what I've seen today."
