Davidson Holdings has completed the acquisition of Pendock Profiles from Alumasc.

Pendock Profiles is a leading manufacturer and supplier of plywood casings for pipework and plumbing, used predominantly in social housing and commercial buildings. The company also manufactures washroom cubicles, column casings and radiator covers. Pendock operates from a 40,000sq ft site in Telford, Shropshire, which will be retained under Davidson's ownership, together with all existing Pendock employees.

Geoffrey Gestetner, managing director of Davidson Holdings, said: "There are significant customer and channel overlaps with Davidson's other businesses, particularly Talon - a UK manufacturer of plastic pipe clips - and Cistermiser, which manufactures washroom controls. We look forward to working with our new colleagues and our existing and new customers to maximise the opportunities offered through the wider product range and strong brand added to our group."

Don Theobald will add responsibility for Pendock to his existing role as managing director of Talon.
