Solfex energy systems, part of the Travis Perkins Group, has announced a partnership with air source heat pump manufacturer Hitachi.

Hitachi will provide Solfex with its range of Monobloc and Split systems, which can provide outputs from 5kw to 24kw. Its standard single refrigerant circuit can provide flow temperatures from 35 to 60°c. When coupled to the S80 cascade unit, these flow temperatures can be increased to 80°c.

Chris Higgs, heat pump product and technical manager for Solfex, said: "The five-year warranty offered as standard really enforces the message that the Hitachi equipment is of the highest quality. As expected, full service support and training will be provided to ensure that specification and installation are as straightforward as possible."

Andy Hooper, Hitachi’s sales manager, added: "The new partnership between Solfex and Hitachi will create opportunities for anyone who needs a solution for their renewable heating needs."
