The £70 million available through the third release of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund (GDHIF) has been fully allocated.
An additional £5 million, remaining from release two of GDHIF, is being made available immediately so householders can continue to apply for funding to make energy saving home improvements. The funding will be allocated as follows:
Money for GDHIF is part of over half a billion pounds allocated for household energy efficiency between 2014 and 2017.
Energy & Climate Change Minister Amber Rudd said: “Thousands of families are taking advantage of the Green Deal Home Improvement Fund and reaping the benefits of a warmer home and lower energy bills.
“It’s no surprise the latest round of funding has been snapped up so quickly but there’s still money available through GDHIF to help even more people have a warmer home for less.”
The approved list of measures for the £5 million remaining from the second release of GDHIF is as follows:
Remaining funds are limited and DECC may vary the terms of the scheme (including the incentive rates) or suspend or close the scheme, with immediate effect, without notice and at any time.
