Baxi’s Genuine Parts division is offering installers a new way to get up-to-the-minute advice on spares by launching a live chat service on its website.

The service means that it’s even easier to access advice from the experts, with installers able to have their questions answered either online or by phone.

David Willetts, general manager at Baxi Genuine Parts, said: “We’re always talking to installers who are concerned about the dangers of non-genuine parts and keen for guidance on what to do should they encounter a fake.

“Fake parts impact on the reliability and safety of a heating system. They won’t have been tested to the same rigorous standards as quality genuine parts, are more likely to fail, and may not be compliant with Gas Safe Regulations, putting the homeowner at risk.

“The new live chat function means that the knowledge and expertise of the advisors that normally field questions via our helpline is now available at your fingertips.”
