HomeServe is handing out a mascot opportunity, as well as free football tickets and gift vouchers to followers, fans and customers across the UK to celebrate international Random Acts of Kindness Week.

The mascot package will enable one lucky youngster to lead out the teams for the Walsall v Wigan match being held at Bank’s Stadium on Saturday 20 February. HomeServe is a sponsor of Walsall FC.

Championed internationally by The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation and others, Random Acts of Kindness Week runs from 14 to 20 February this year. During the week, HomeServe is planning to randomly hand out gifts including the mascot package as well as ten free tickets to the Walsall v Wigan match and free, random £10 gift vouchers.

John Greaves, HomeServe brand director, said: “This is a simple and fun way to give back to our local communities who we are so passionate about supporting. We know from our recent research that the UK is a nation of happy neighbours who like to help make each other’s lives easier so we hope to hear some great stories about random acts of kindness during our giveaways.”

Recent research from HomeServe shows that the kindness that is part of the UK’s unique community spirit is very much alive and kicking with more than 83% of 2,000 UK homeowners saying that their local neighbours had gone out of their way to help them.
