Organisations in the building engineering sector have offered their full support for the new ‘Occupational Health in Building Services Engineering Survey’.
The survey, run by the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) and the Building Engineering Services Association (BESA), alongside Constructing Better Health, has six additional industry supporters, as follows: The Specialist Engineering Contractors’ Group, The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health’s Construction Group, SELECT (Scotland’s electrical trade association), The Fire and Security Association, The Joint Industry Board and Voltimum.
ECA director of business services Paul Reeve said: “We are very pleased that these bodies are supporting our sector-wide occupational health survey. The survey is open to everyone in the sector, and we are particularly inviting responses from senior and operational managers and professionals. The results will provide the information needed to develop a more cost-effective approach to occupational health management.”
The overall survey findings will be shared with key stakeholders across the industry in the second quarter of this year. The occupational health survey, which typically takes five to ten minutes to complete, can be viewed here, and is open until 13 April.
