ATAG raises awareness for gas safety week

Published:  18 August, 2016

This Gas Safety Week, ATAG Heating Technology is hoping to raise awareness with a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm giveaway.

The sixth annual Gas safety Week will take place from 19 to 25 September, and aims to see organisations across the UK working together to promote the dangers of poorly maintained gas appliances, which can cause gas leaks, fires, explosions and CO poisoning.

All Gas Safe Registered installers who order an ATAG Heating Technology boiler during Gas Safety Week will receive the alarm free of charge to pass on to their customers.

“At ATAG, every week is Gas Safety Week and we are 100% committed to spreading the message as far and wide as possible during the industry’s most high profile week of the year,” said Sam Browne, managing director of ATAG Heating Technology.

“As the sole boiler manufacturer to sell only to Gas Safe Registered installers, ATAG’s business is built upon support for the best of our industry, while cutting off supply to the cowboys. This, in turn, measurably improves safety in homes up and down the country.”
