Press connection technology is fast becoming one of the top installation methods of choice for installers looking for a speedy, reliable turnaround on projects while also reducing risk on-site.

For hygiene reasons, all Geberit Mapress press fittings are sealed with a protection plug, which is only removed once they are processed. The colour of the plug also indicates their application.

The range of pressing tools extends from tools for small building sites to electrohydraulic tools for fast work progress and low-fatigue working. It includes corresponding pressing jaws and pressing collars.

Electrohydraulic pressing technology has advantages over conventional electromechanical pressing technology.

On the one hand, the devices are especially small, light and handy. On the other hand, this technology allows a higher pressing speed and thus a faster work progress.

The Geberit ECO 203 and ACO 203 tools are electrohydraulically driven, and the ACO 203 is equipped with lithium-ion battery technology.

As a result of the long battery life and short charge times, the tools have to go to the charging station less frequently and for shorter periods, so that fewer work stoppages occur.

A slim, non-slip rubber handle ensures safe and ergonomic handling. An electronic log book with a diagnostic function counts the pressing sequences and indicates when a service inspection is due. Geberit recommends that the tools are serviced every one or two years, depending on the model, or after approximately 40,000 pressing operations, whichever comes first. The jaws should be serviced yearly.
